I snagged that Michter's on Father's Day too! Did you get your free bag of coffee also? And I had that Lineage as a pour. Quite tasty but I coulndn't pull the the trigger on the price. Too bad I didn't run into you folks.

I was able to get a bottle of that Weller Antique for $29.99. And for that price I viewed it as a steal. I enjoyed it. Weller is hard to find here in Chicago. And I was at a local food & liquor store. And found both the Weller Special reserve and the antique. Sitting on shelf. The store owner told me that nobody was buying it. I guess in that area there weren't too many whiskey enthusiast. after returning a third time to get more they have sold out. The owner told me he wasn't ordering more because no one really cared for it. Someone went in there and got greedy and bought the last 11 bottles. I should learn to be a bit greedy. I always buy a bottle leaving some for others and I miss out later. But I really enjoyed the Weller antique and would pay $50 if I could find it.

Jim Beam did one. It's awesome ! 20 year. Son and I each got one. We has the box signed by Booker Beam, Fred and Freddie. Great event at their distillery Thursday evening. Also had access to their Hardins Creek 11 year corn whiskey. We each got one. Should be released this week. Not sure if the distillery only. And my son got a Legacy bottle also

New to bourbon. Went to Utah bourbon drop last month. Only one bottle at a time, ended up buying two EHT small batch @ $50/per. Could have grabbed a Blanton $80 or Eagle Rare $42 1st time through, but didn't know if Small Batch would still be around second time through..... Very happy I got 2 EHT small batch !!! Well worth the $50 !! 😊

On the Rare Perfection 8 yr., I picked one up last Tuesday at the distillery and I agree with you. It was an amazing pour and worth the $200. I chose this bottle over getting the WTMK Triumph.
